Let me explain. As I am all sure that you know about the airports being shut and rail travel from Aberdeen being distrupted. Well there were two gentlemen needing to get to London tonight and the only way was for them to get to Waverly Station, Edinburgh to get the train to London. Well I was the guy assigned to get them there with just about 2hrs and 15 mins before the train set off. I got them there with time to spare and set them on their way.

Now to the picture - yes there has probably been hundreds if not thousands of pics of Edinburgh Castle done on here before but not by ME! Knowing that being a taxi I could stop on Princes Street without much fuss and fire off a few shots which I did by winding down the passenger window leaning over and doing so.

I have cropped it down a bit and gave it a monochrome treatment but tha is about it. The lad from Aberdeen enjoyed his very brief visit to our nations capital and the chance for this most unexpected blip to come my way.
