Survivor

After the gales of yesterday, the streets of Edinburgh were today littered with debris. A massive amount of trees were either uprooted or just snapped like twigs.

In my own garden I found that the two apple trees I recently planted had also been blown over. I think I might have saved them but will have to wait and see.

On the way home today I felt that this defiant tree deserved some recognition for surviving the storm.
