One of the Thousands

One of the thousands of trees which has come down in Scotland during the severe storms over the last 24 hours. Sadly, this is a younger tree in Maxwell Park in Glasgow.

It was still very windy today, with periods of strong sunlight and then hail and heavy rain. Every pavement is covered in leaves, twigs and small branches.

I am thinking of friends who are already travelling from abroad to a wedding here this weekend. I hope everyone makes it, as the volanic ash has grounded many flights over Scotland.
