Still watering the grass.
Well I wasn't expecting that news today.
I knew that resources were stretched and we were told that we had to be flexible, but in my heart of hearts I really thought nothing much would change for me.
WRONG!
After being summoned to a meeting this morning, I was told that I will be working in a different school full-time from next term.
I was really hard trying to keep listening to what was being said and at the same time thinking, 'no, this cant be happening!'. Tricky thing to do.
I've been so busy today that I didn't even have the luxury of time to take in the news until tonight.
I've gone from disbelief to resignation to being very annoyed. (isn't is supposed to be annoyed and then resigned?)
I tried not get emotionally attached to the kids, but too late, I'm hooked.
I need to sleep on this as I don't want to do or say anything rash tomorrow.
But I feel like saying I'm not moving schools and i'm prepared to work FOC to keep working with 'my kids'.
Sad Face.
PS The grass is still being watered as Bill the gardener was around today and he says the grass needs more care and attention.
What, just like me then?
