Acrobatic insects

Was woken up by an insect this morning - 5.50 and a very loud bee got trapped between the curtains and the window. Managed to find my glasses and a jug and help it out but was very awake by then.

Another day of computer frustration as we battle against our next deadline and the various issues generated by our upgrades. Our new printer was spewing out alternate pages in portrait and landscape format today.....no idea why but did make for some interesting documents.

Still very windy at lunchtime - but not anything like as bad as in Scotland. These insects were hanging on for grim death against the breeze and managed to stay together despite being buffeted around in the grass. Not sure what kind of flies they are - haven't had chance to get my insect book out or do much googling this evening.

Book group tonight. We didn't have much to say about the book - it was a bit of a let down and would probably have been OK for a beach read but not much to discuss. Each monthly meeting sees more of our group confessing to Kindle buying. I haven't succumbed....yet.
