Wind fall

The scene this morning on the Roseburn cycle path. A few of the larger trees had not survives the wind and were right down over the path making it a climbing job to get where you were going.

It was nice to see people helping each other, and their bikes, from one side to the other. More entertaining were the people conscientiously warning me that a tree had fallen, as my obvious steam locomotive-like speed would have made it hard for me to see it, never mind stop in time.

Kudos to the ...council?... for having them all sawn up and cleared by the end of the afternoon.
