Figgate Blipmeet

I had quite a busy day today! I took my car to the garage early this morning to have a tow bar fitted so I can finally tow my RIB. I collected it at 5.30pm and soon after, headed off into Edinburgh to meet with some fellow blippers (Anth, Trev, Meles & DaveH) at Figgate park.

I didn't even know this place existed and it was a lovely wee park with a large pond inhabited by swans, ducks, geese, coots and moorhens. This lad attemped to eat both DaveH's and my feet!! After a mooch around the pond, we headed for a wee dram at The Sheep's Heid in Duddingston.

A hugely fun evening with a lovely bunch of blippers and thanks to Anth for organising this :-)
