Sometimes...

...the daily blip just walks up to you and looks you in the eye. Another hand-in at college today, and didn't think I'd take another college blip until I saw this guy. Spoke to someone who said the SSPCA had been told but weren't planning to take action as the bird seemed able to fly and didn't appear injured. It is wearing a ring and apparently has escaped from somewhere in Yorkshire rather than been blown off course from Europe. I've always thought it was odd that they seem common (or at least widespread) in Northern Europe but they don't come to the UK.
By the way, it's a White Stork.
