500 not out!!

I went from work this morning straight to Fowles Auctions so that we could look at the auction items for today. Kaz met me there and we decided that we would put an absentee bid on only two items - a towel rail and a carpet sweeper! We then went looking for tiles, laminate flooring, a vanity, taps and other items at different shops nearby! We found floor tiles, walls tiles, a vanity, bath taps, kitchen taps, shower head and taps, and laminate flooring. We then headed back to Fowles auctions to see if we had won our bids and found we had won them both so it was a very productive day!

Kaz went home and I went to work. Brett made us all curried sausages for tea tonight which were beautiful, then we went for a drive to a nearby station to say hello, then have just been watching tv!

I realised at 8.30pm that today was my 500th consecutive blip! It snuck up on me!! If I had have known I would have tried to find something a bit more spectacular, but what I have come up with is the banana tree that is growing in the bbq area at the fire station. This is taken with the camera laying face up on a table with a 10 second shutter speed, looking up at the sky!

I am still loving this community, the people, the challenge of finding a blip everyday and using my camera in different ways! I am finding that life is getting busier and I have less time to spend on here looking at other people's awesome blips and catching up with what people are up to. I have to realise that it is ok for that to happen and not let this addictive (but awesome) site run my life!! Here's to another 500 blips!!

Thanks for all the lovely comments on yesterday's blip of Brett's car and the concern about my niece, Ella. I haven't spoken to Shell today but I think they are all doing well.
