Yucca Pod

Went on a hike this morning in some fields that tweeked my interest some time ago. The fields are made up of native grasses and flowering weeds. While working my way through some willows a coyote moved ahead of me. Sadly, he took off before I could get a picture. Nesting in a nearby cottowood tree is a redtailed hawk. It's hikes like this one that again connects me with nature. A connection that is sometimes forgotten in my busy world.
