When the boat comes in

Remember this sepia shot? Well this photo is taken from the other side of that stretch of water. It's the river Swale and is taken from the Ferry House Inn looking across to Oare Marshes. This stretch is called Harty Ferry and this area of the isle of Sheppey is the isle of Harty. I've blipped this boat before from a bit closer.

This is a smashing way to remember a long day. First meeting at just gone 8am and then moving between two sites to talk to students - I caught the sun this afternoon because I was sitting outside chatting. Then a bit of birdwatching and home. Exhausted. Time for a snoozle in front of the TV. Wednesday popped up and has been dealt with.
