Train Spotter

I took my camera to Newcastle station this evening as I was picking Lizzie up as she had been working down in London.

It turned out to be a less than successful photgraphic trip though, for a couple of reasons....

1 - I don't frequent the station very often, and since my last visit all access to the platforms has been closed to anyone without a ticket!! Bad start!!

2 - I realised that photographing anything from a distance left me awfully exposed!!!! I mean what if I saw somebody I knew??! Having four cats is wierd enough, add to this being a trainspotter and i think society would disown me on masse!!!

Anyway I found this train in a relatively quiet part of the station and liked the lines, so snapped a few quick shots, quick look over my shoulder and smuggled my camera back into my jacket!! Phew, mission accomplished, reputation intact!!! :-)
