Bath Cycle Races

For the last four weeks there have been a series of criterium cycle races (otherwise known as crits) on Wednesday evenings in Victoria Park, Bath.

I took a few photos tonight, all of which turned out somewhat impressionistic due to poor light and even poorer technique on my part. That said, I quite like the resulting effect. It captures the movement if nothing else.

This was taken on the final lap, of the first and second place riders, though I have no idea who finished first. The lead rider here races for the team associated with Cadence bike shop in Bath which, coincidentally, is just round the corner from where I live.
