Minolta Hi-Matic AF-D 1981

An early autofocus 35mm camera with built-flash and a mechanism to print the date on the negative. AF stands for autofocus and D for the date gadget.
It has an unusual shaped lens cap that also covers the rangefinder and AF sensors.

Interesting Minolta trivia: Apparently, John Glenn took an Ansco Autoset, an early Hi-matic version, to space in 1962.
