Little Stream Across the Road

After yesterday?s waterfall wander I stayed closer to the house. This little whirlpool is in the stream right across the road from my house.

I love the different view you can get with water and long exposure. You can make flowing water look all smoky or you can reveal shapes created by motion that are hidden from the normal time slices we humans perceive.

Mosquitos were out in force in the forest this morning, they seem to have cencentrated on my elbows today for some reason.
