Solitary tree - home edition

There is something special about solitary trees... since I wasn't about to hit the countryside today, this "Saint Mary's hand" that I brought home with me from Egypt had to act as a substitute.

i got the solitary tree idea from this photo on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/milladesign/2332903772/ It made me realize I often fall for that type of shot.
It seems the solitary tree is special to me. (it even made me rhyme!)

Next time I'll try to find a real one (though there is actually one in my profile picture here on blip!).
