uplift mofo retirement plan

when I'm old, I'm going to live in this shed. I might need to make a couple of alterations before I move in - this bit will be my kitchen.

Whilst I've spent the day at work and then rushing around at home to put away all the things people have left lying around (I would never leave anything lying around, of course) before the rain came (I was only a little bit unsuccessful in my time plan so only got a little bit soaked) my two younger daughters have been here and here respectively. The eldest is now getting ready to go to a party with the theme "Hawaiian beach".

It was nearly 30°C today, so perfect weather for these activities.

I'm not jealous, no no no. In fact, I'm just glad that I'm not Mr. Spitzimixi who left for work at 6am, missed his 6pm bus home, won't get home now til 7.45pm and has a meeting to go to tonight. Whereas I just have a child to pick up from a party and a novel to finish. *closes eyes and ignores the mess in the kitchen that really should be on the list too*
