After five tornado sirens last night, the south side of town and most of campus are littered with tree branches. I've never heard that many chain saws and branch shredders going at once. Power lines are also down in the streets and across sidewalks.

No reported deaths, though, so all is well.

Cider, on the other hand, hates being in the basement...he says it's cramped and smelly.

Here are the clouds over campus this afternoon...leftover bits of this giant, crazy storm system. After a week of this stuff, I'm ready for some calmer weather.
