My German homework for the weekend is:

Should the following phrase been eliminated as the Humboldt University motto after the fall of the Berlin Wall?

"Die Philosophen haben die Welt
nur verschieden interpretiert;
es kommt aber darauf an,
sie zu verändern"

or, loosely translated,

"The philosophers have merely
interpreted the World in different ways;
what really matters, however,
is changing it."

I personally think that the words ring true despite the fact that the man who penned them happened started a movement that would beget many tyrannic regimes.

I took this people as part of my city scavenger hunt. I'm very surprised at how mean some people can be when you ask them questions... but at the same time, I'm surprised at how nice other people can be when you ask them for help. I guess it takes all sorts of people...
