After Overnight Rain

Continuing the rural theme from yesterday, but in a broader sense. This was a very early photo as dawn broke......me in jamies and gummies.....the skys had cleared, some fog hugged the very wet ground, and droplets still hung onto the fencing wire. This is taken from our paddocks looking through the valley to the Pacific Ocean, but by the time I got myself organised the fog was clearing. Oh, and if you are wondering what the thing is in the middle of the paddock it is a water trough.

Went out for lunch with my workmates - it was meant to be a farewell for our very pregnant Rachael, but she had to cancel for a specialist appointment; we decided we would go anyway, had a lovely Indian curry with chicken, banana's and cashews - yummo!!

dups & Rob are coming over for dinner this evening, a catchup before they head away to the UK, and I have some adjustments to the book before it heads off on its big OE!!
