Antique
Sorry about the backblip, I fell asleep basically as soon as I sat on my bed and have only just woken up :/
It was a fairly long evening tonight probably explaining why I collapsed. A fairly ordinary day at school, but then after school we had our annual art exhibition where primarily A level and Gcse work is displayed.
It went really well, I had also 'built' a dark room with my friend greg, as certain features of our work required special lighting. But overall it was a really lovely evening, and nice to see lots of people and get lots of compliments on my work and be able to talk to people about it all :)
This is one of my pieces but from a funky angle, I also used this cobweb spray to make it look even more antiquey. This piece featured an ink and bleach method, whereby ink is applied to a base sheet and bleach then is used to remove colour and draw. I developed the technique and used different coloured inks on perspex which I then layered three together with a still life drawn on the bottom sheet. Then I put the piece on a light box and allowed it to shine through
Anyways I'm gonna go get up now, but sorry again for the back blip.
