Catkins and crocuses
Just love this time of year - growth, spring flowers and lovely fresh green colours. Everything is clean and untainted by the year ahead.
I took this picture at the Gillis Centre whilst on a research course - some of the conversation was about 'what is reality'? Well this feels real - a tree showing it's new growth, a blackbird sitting on a fence looking at me. When I feel the need for grounding these are the things that give me stability and a feeling of centredness.
I'm conscious that my pictures haven't really developed technically and yet my sense of matching an image to my mood has been a revelation. That is where the learning is for me at the moment.
