Bee Keeping

This is a picture of a bee-keeper at work in his apiary on the Datça peninsula in Turkey. Each village has a large group of hives laid out in the surrounding hills. This comprises quite a large part of the local economy, and honey is sold extensively in Shops and markets.

Honey is eaten with yogurt or on bread.
