Keeping things going
Where would our world be without electricity? I was looking out the window on the way to work this morning, and noticing all the pylons - this a small sample of the variety to be seen on the journey between Glasgow and Stirling. They stick out like sore thumbs, showing so much of our lack of concern for anything beyond humanity's comforts. Perhaps they might be considered as sad indicators of what we have so often done with God's incredible creation, too often we use and abuse it with so little thought for the future. I'm not an ardent environmentalist, and generally have a pretty pragmatic take on it, but do think that both I in particular and Christians in general should take the creation mandate (stewardship over the Earth) much more seriously.
