Today's the day ...................... to shoot the rapids

Well - a month ago you'd never have believed that you would see a sight like this on the river Kent in the middle of Kendal. The water was so low that you could practically have paddled across without too much difficulty.

Caught this chap today - obviously enjoying himself - one of a group of six or so canoes on their way downstream.

Got caught myself actually. Tiree drove past me while I was camera in hand - in full blipping mode ..............!
