Happy Birthday Tom

Tom's girlfriend and I made a brownie cake. She did a great job decorating it and he enjoyed eating it. She served him a whole quarter of the cake, but luckily we had a back-up one to share with everyone else. :)

Before we sang to him, he had to put on the birthday hat that was just given to him...a woman's farmer hat, the type you see people wear to keep the sun and dust off as they work in the fields all day. He did unzip the front a bit so he could blow out the candles. However, they were trick candles, and he kept trying to blow them out for a minute or so before resorting to pinching the wicks with wet fingers.
