Power

We've spent the last few hours in the dark, thanks to some passing summer storms. For a country presumably so technologically advanced as the States, power outages happen with annoying frequency.

So candles it was, with a home delivered dinner from the local pizzeria. Romantic by necessity... :)

Then, I got to do some recovery work on my laptop, which was on when the power went and throughout the many fits-and-starts as lights flickered on and off. I thought for sure it was fried and part of me said "yeah! Mac, here I come!" But the darn thing came back to life... :(
