Instrumental Concert

My brother decided to learn how to play the violin this semester and today was his concert. They played about 5-6 shorts songs, then intermediate band and the wind ensemble played afterwards. I definitely brought back memories of being in band in high school. That was an era of good and bad times. For the most part, it was a positive experience in my life. It I were to do all over again, i would choose I a different instrument. Gosh, the trumpet became to be a pain.

After the concert, there was a banquet for everyone- musicians and non-musicians alike. It was free! My family and I didn't expect it one bit. We had Mexican food and it was good. The free part just made it 10x better too!
