The Breakdown: Part Two

Today we went to recover our broken down trailer which had been repaired in Worcester. We started our journey at 7am. By 11am we were stuck on the m6 which was closed! By 12pm we were back on the move. Then the battery warning light came on. We made it to the next junction and pulled off. Getting to the roundabout we realised the problem was the serpentine drive belt as there was no power steering!
A call to the AA and much cursing later the AA man turned up in just 45 minutes. Thankfully he was very sure he could fix it which lifted our low spirits (second breakdown in a week). The parts weren't in stock so they put us in a Premier Inn for the night and came back first thing in the morning. Thanks to their excellent help we were back on the road at 10am to restart our epic journey!
