This is joy in plant form!

And is a fair likeness to the energy and vitality emitted from the young performers at the concert last night.

I did much clapping and even attempted a small dance.

'Small', owing to being hampered by a minor injury!

When you've done such a silly thing as to gently stub a toe on the ironing board, and find you've broken it (the toe, not the ironing board) even a small dance is only possible if adrenalin-fuelled!

Birmingham Conservatoire Folk Ensemble (50 of them!) were the young performers. They had everyone on their feet, and are youtube-able. If only I knew how to link you. I recommend them live.

Please don't even breathe near my foot; now a gratifying shade of magenta!!!
