Tree bumblebee (Bombus hypnorum)
The Tree Bumblebee, which likes to nest in holes in trees and sometimes bird nest boxes, is a widespread native of mainland Europe - hence its nickname "Le Tree Bee". It first arrived in Britain, probably from France, in July 2001 near the New Forest.
Keep a look out for it over the weekend :)
