Blipmeet

Pelicanguy and I got to meet a fellow blipper from Finland - Timook of the Optimistic Photo Journal. He and his wife Tarja are traveling through the western US, and today they met us for a walk through Chinatown and a visit to Coit Tower. On the way, we stopped here, at Cafe Trieste. Timo has some beautiful photos of his US adventures on his journal.

I also had a chance to play around with a new technique I learned in my class: HDR, where 3 bracketed images are merged into one. It needs work, but here's one of my experiments, taken from the top of Coit Tower.
