Windows of the world

Ben headed off for his meeting in London and I dropped off William at Mama's. i got a taxi to Wellingborough station and the train up to London. I headed to the office where I met the new MD for half an hour before going to Graphic bar to meet Jezza, Michelle and Laurence. It was so nice to see everyone and catch up, they're such a nice bunch.
Ben headed to Golden Square and when I hailed a cab to Park Lane, that's when he guessed that I'd told a porky pie about where we were going for dinner. He's wanted to go to Galvins at Windows for a couple of years now, so I thought it would be a nice birthday surprise to go there and enjoy a night just being 'us' again. Lots of wine, champagne and 8 courses later we missed our train! We eventually got back to Mama's at 2am, to find our baby boy sleeping peacefully in the cot there and he continued to do so until we had to wake him up at 7am! Result. Happy birthday darling Ben. You two are my world.
