The Chef and El Nene have a break.

There was a wedding at the hotel in Deía today, and my job was to get some shots of the tables and setting before the guests arrived. I also had to do a bit of behind the scenes for myself. This is Lluis, (seated) a fantastic chef (and a contented new Dad, congratulations to you and Sonia!), and Morro having a break. I haven't seen Morro for a couple of years for one reason and another. He might be Spanish by name and language, but he's a true Scouser by birth and a great guy.

I found the whole thing fascinating, watching the organisation coming together. It was a hot day after a cloudy start, and flowers, candles etc. couldn't be put in place until the last minute. Of course, everyone at Es Moli pulled together. They really have a class act and team spirit you don't get at, for example, the famous name hotel in Deía. Mentioning no names. By all accounts, everything went well, even the whole wedding group walking down from the church at the top of the hill.

The guys were a bit worried I would use a shot like this. But we all know they need a break and I don't think anyone would say they didn't deserve it.

Meanwhile, the boys and I had a quick play on the beach and a takeaway curry to watch the final with. Barca won, in case you didn't know. Descansa from football for a while too now....
