Come Dine Glasgow Special

The Come Dine Day has arrived! Rain, sun, rain, sun - so a rain coat and shorts kind of day.
Am very proud of the spicy bean and chorizo stew I've made, and the oregano, pea & radish salad - slightly more random - so I packed them away and jetted off with Emma on the train to Glasgow. A plan for shopping pre-dinner was thwarted by a large Tesco-sponsored Fresh Local Produce festival - delights we sampled included irn bru, curry pies, and a slice of haggis pizza. Appetites only slightly spoiled, there was time to indulge in some Shopping - to pick up PJs for the upcoming JimJamJog for Andy and me.
And finally - Come dine with me, chez Lisa. And what a sweetheart - she had made pitta breads and a cake, decorated in celebration of tonight's big game. Much hilarity - Lisa's first online bet was placed tonight. And Lisa confided in us her 2nd career plan, one to take her into old age.... A lady golf pro. Nights don't get much better than this.
