A long time coming

The last time all my siblings and I were together in this place, on this day, was 1996. The crepe myrtle has been my favorite tree in this yard for as long as I can remember.

After yesterday's on and off rain, the day dawned with nothing but sunshine and perfect temperatures. I caught up with more family that I haven't seen in a couple of years.
