Same but different

Even the puddles and raindrops are different when I'm at mom's house. The rain sounds different. Good thing the birthday/mother's day party wasn't today. Seriously, one perfectly sunny day sandwiched between two soggy ones; how lucky were we?

I've always loved looking out at this patio when it rains. The rain falling on the huge tree with its canopy over the front entrance makes the most soothing sound.
