as flat as it needs to be

At one point a little earlier in the afternoon I was sitting outside and actually had need to put my sunglasses on.

After a quarter of an hour I moved round a bit just in case one side of my face was getting burnt.

It's almost certainly not the first time this year that direct sunlight has reached all the way down the corridor but it's the first time I've caught it.

It's also a nicer thing to celebrate than the first catching-in-the-act of one of the dog-walking arsewits who let their manky dogs shite in the lane next to the flat. Unfortunately the nastypikeywifey ignored my questions and wandered off before I could get a picture but I'll recognise her if I see her again.
