A tasty day out

Which almost didn't happen. We'd been given free tickets to the Ideal Home show in Glasgow but on arrival on site about 11:30, after waiting in a long queue fpr twenty minutes we were told that the car parks were full. Ridiculous!

Rather than turn home again, we managed to find a parking place in a street nearby avoiding the car park charge!

We naturally gravitated towards the food area and managed to see two cookery demos and tasted lots of food.

Masterchef lovers may remember Stacie Stewart of the Beehive Bakerywho got to the last four in 2010. She seems just as lovely in person demoing food anyone could attempt.

John Burton race in his element as always imparting lots of tips with plenty of flair.

A real find was the Babu Kitchen. We really enjoyed Pau Bhaji a spicy vegetarian dish which was soft, spicy and delicious.
