I've always loved a particular painting by Avril Paton called 'The Blue Room', showing a Glasgow tenement block across from her house. Tia has a copy of it hanging up on her wall which has always interested me, mainly because the view from her kitchen is almost identical.

We celebrated her Mum's birthday today, although I wont say how many candles she had. I've been brought up very much with the understanding that it is rude to ask a lady her age, much less advertise it on the internet.

All in all its been a pleasant weekend yet productive weekend, with many loose ends being taken care of. I think I'll just try and block the Dundee result out and carry on this week as if nothing happened.

Hey, at least there are only 4 working days this week.
