Yesterday evening we went to a production of The Taming of the Shrew at the theatre where we normally go to see the panto. It was strange to see Aladdin playing Biondello. The cast and the production was excellent.

Today the Duke Of Westminster opened Eaton Hall gardens. This happens about four times a year in aid of the charities he supports. The gardens themselves looked magnificent and there there were may photo opportunities..

The falconer told us that when he had visited a couple of weeks ago to have a pre event meeting he had spent some time down by the river in the neighbouring village. When we came out we decided to take a walk along the river bank. The highlight of the day was seeing the blue dart of a kingfisher flying low across the river to the far bank.

Today is my sister and her husband's first wedding anniversary. Happy anniversary M and D.
