Blustery

It might be great for bears down in Hundred Acre Wood but the wind's been causing havoc around here for 5 days in a row now.

It seems to have calmed itself down in the past few minutes, probably just so it can rain again, but not enough to encourage me to venture off this comfy couch and head out with a camera, so it's a lazy shot taken from another seated position of Heather being blown towards the car after her shift in the tea room earlier.

Other than that, and a bit of express grass cutting between showers, it's been a mostly settee based Sunday watching Formula 1 and golf (not together, though that could be an interesting spectator sport) and now football whilst gently trying to shake off the after effects of last night's beer/port/whisky combo. Just a niggling bit of it left now, jabbing away behind my right eye.

Aye... football. Scotland v Republic of Ireland competing to see who wins the Carling Nations Cup. Seems to have turned out a bit of a damp squib that one (lots of empty seats, England not bothering to send a team), but Scotland's best chance of adding some silver-wear to the Hampden trophy cabinet in long time. The Republic's 1 up at half time though, so maybe not. Ah well.
