DIY hell

This is Mr EG putting the first coat of floor varnish on at about 11.30pm :0(

As usual any DIY event in the EG household takes twice the time or I should say 4 times the time expected. At it all day sanding the floor and painting the walls apart from a little break to see our niece and nephew over at A's for a bit of C's birthday cake and a cup of tea. J has a new name for Mr EG - Uncle Spikal or Uncle Cheese - he knows him well!

Delayed down at the stables - Lime (or his pals) had shredded the rug I bought him just last weekend so Mr EG had to do some emergency repairs while I did the mucking out and feeding. Grr - bluddy horses costing me a bluddy fortune rant rant ..... But they are worth every penny.
