20 km of Brussels

This year, around 30 000 people took part in the 20 km of Brussels. Six of those 30 000 were colleagues. Therefore, we had set up a base camp with a group of non-running colleagues in Parc du Cinquantenaire (the start/finish of the race) and a cheering point half way. All running colleagues made it to the finish line!

I took this shot right at the start of the race. Runners first have to run through the park. With 30 000 people participating, they want to overtake as many people as quickly as possible, so they can run at their own pace. Just look at the dust clouds rising up above the crowd! :)
