My favorite flower

It's been a very hot day, but I managed to get a lot of work done in the garden. A friend called me up and offered a load of perrenials from her garden. I can't turn that down! Later, I joined the kids and dogs and sweetheart for a romp in the White Clay Creek State park. Just what was needed with this hot and humid weather. Now back to the garden. These peonies were just cut this morning and now grace the entry of our home. I am trying anew method (new to me) of cutting the peonies while still in their bud stage (marshmellows), and storing them in the fridge. I read that if done correctly, they can last up to three weeks. I hope it works!!!
