Monday: Trafalgar Square

There are two things that I need to take up with the London Tourist Authority, or whoever is responsible for such matters.  The first is that it would be much nicer for photographs if the fountains in Trafalgar Square were lit up late at night.  The other is that too many walls have rounded tops - I mean, how is a girl to balance a camera if everything is curved?  Tsk.

This is Trafalgar Square at 0030 in the morning - I have to say there are some very odd characters hanging around there at that time of night.  Nightshifts are odd - you are cocooned in a very quiet office, thinking you are the only people awake in London and then you emerge from the office in the small hours to find this whole underbelly of life going on (well....not quite....just a few late night revellers).  

For those of you who would like to know how yesterday's food dilemma resolved itself - we had mini pizzas.  Tonight it is fish finger butties.

Hope you had a good Bank holiday (for those in the UK).  Back to work for me tonight - but I have had my best sleep of the week today and feel ready and equipped!
