Had a portrait shoot today with the beautiful dancer and student Katie. It's been a long while since I've done a portrait shoot outdoors since last summer... we expected for the weather to be lovely but it was FREEZING!

I took a variety of shots but this was something I haven't tried before... blurring the really close foreground to create a misty effect with Katie being quite far away but in focus. I like it! :)

*I've just realised, a year ago today I bumped into a deer... during our shoot today we were being watched by many deer coming out of the forest and I've not seen one live since a year ago today... how weird!?
