the colony expands!!

there is a colony of 9 house martin nests around the eaves of our row of cottages...and today they decided to expand and started constructing a new nest right outside our bathroom window!! words fail me to explain just how magical this has been to watch...i can't wait to wake up tomorrow and see how far they get, they've already done so much today, and it's so sweet how they all muck in together. wow, this means we are going to have chicks right outside our window before too long...it's tooOOOoOOoooo excittinnigngignignggngggggg!!!!! beautiful. love you house martins x x
