Starlings - Musical May

First significant rain here in Ross-on-Wye today in many weeks. It seemed to spark off a feeding frenzy with the birds. I equalled my record of 18 species seen in one day today in my garden!! (I do a weekly count for the BTO). This included fledglings of Sparrows, Great Tits, Blue Tits, Chaffinches and Starlings (featured!)!! We (my wife and eldest daughter) had a very relaxed morning watching all the goings on. At one point there must have 40+ birds in the garden. The highlights were watching the parents of the various species feeding all the fledglings. There were was much "ahhhing" !

This is a fantastic song of the fantastic album ? The Seldom Seen Kid. I went to see Elbow live a couple of years ago and they put on and absolutely stunning performance.
