"I can drive a tractor...."

We left Pontypool this morning in the rain. Which felt surprisingly appropriate, somehow driving in the sunshine through the Brecon Beacons would have felt wrong. There was a strange beauty in the cloudy gloom over the mountains. Well, that's what we told ourselves as it was really miserable.

As we got North however the sun came out and by the time we hit LLanraedar ym Mochnant the sun was out. The b and b is gorgeous and we were met with a cup of tea and cake. The village itself is where part of "The Englishman who went up a hill...." was filmed and having wandered around a bit you can see why it was chosen.
